ABOUT US

U-YOGA UGANDA is a community-based nonprofit organization established in 2014 to address community challenges of poverty, unemployment, violence, HIV/AIDS, environment, climate change, and poor access to education. We also address challenges to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in the rural communities of Kyegegwa District and Rwenzori sub-region as well as in the country at large. Our mission is to empower and transform the lives of youth, children, adolescents, orphans, the disabled, and women, with the intention of helping them to achieve prosperity for themselves and within their communities. We work to better our service delivery through community engagements, capacity building, financial support, and partnerships with government, legal faith-based institutions, and local and international organizations and agencies.
